I recently discovered that my computer was getting shitty connection to our Verizon Homefusion router through wifi so I decided to hardwire it to the router through the house.
I connected it and it had awesome speeds and what not, but I decided I wanted to be able to use wifi in my room for my xbox and cell phone and what not so I tried to hook a Cisco WRT160N V3 up using the same exact port on the wall and everything and then hook my computer to that using another ethernet cable. Nothing. It can connect to the router by wifi and by ethernet but the router is getting no internet connection. Hook the computer back up directly to the wall and boom here I am posting.
Not sure what the issue could be, obviously something with the router but I have restored it to factory defaults. Any help at all is greatly appreciated!
