Ive got an old latitude d610, ATI Mobility Radeon X300 w/ 64MB dedicated RAM, and when I stream netflix to my hd tv at 1920x1080, it cant keep up. I get a jerky picture. If I decrease the resolution, it works ok.

Is there anything I can do to make this a better streaming platform?

it makes a good web surfing platform on my 52 inch tv/monitor. but sucks for video. Was wondering if I could put a better video card in it, or is it just cpu bound

Mostly CPU bound. You wouldn't be able to install a new video card.
