Need XP Laptop ASAP

yea anyways school is starting and I need a laptop, Ive found a good deal on a vista laptop (celeron, 80gbHD,512ram 400$) but i really want a XP. I will be using it for internet, videos, music, word and excel type programs. I am not trying to spend more than 500 I need it by monday, thanks in advance.
 
your best bet would be Dell; as far as I know they are the only ones that still sell new laptops with XP in them
 
yea someone posted a link for the dell SB which sells xp laptops I was only looking in the home section if there is any other places share with me:)
 
Since you need the laptop by Monday, buying a Dell laptop is not a good idea since it now takes them several weeks to build and ship you your laptop.

So basically you're SOL for an under $500 laptop with XP still on it thats available by Monday.

You can always just buy a Vista laptop and install XP on it IF you have a legal copy of XP on hand.
 
I have been using Vista on my laptop at school and have not encountered any problems with Vista as of yet.
 
Depending on the city you are in or cities you are near you could get one off of craigslist, Pentium M laptops usually go in the $400-$500 range or thereabouts.
