Need ups advice please

I'm going to get a ups backup power supply for my home pc and don't know what to go with. Could some of you guys that use a ups give me some recomendations. I'm not looking for anything real fancy just something that will get through these storms we have around this time of year.
I've been looking at the APC line mainly because it's the only thing I've heard of in the past.

Lots of fans
Probably run just the Pc off of the ups but like I said I don't know much about ups's.
Usually when I'm at work the monitor is turned off but the PC is running FAH.
I just want the pc to stay running through those 2 or 3 second brownouts we have a lot of and shut down safely if the power goes down and stays there.

Try link this. It is the APC product selector/configurator. With UPS's I would just spend the amount of money you are comfortable, bigger the better. I still have a few UPS's that I bought 10 years ago, replaced a battery here and there.

The SmartUPS 750 is what I got for my new workstation. It would be plenty for your needs and is better than their lower end ones.
