So my friends PC's motherboard failed. Overall trying to repair it was futile and not worth the cost. (Her PC was a 4 year old Acer with a E2200 cpu, 2gb RAM, etc. You get the idea, it was crap and probably the cheapest option Acer provided at the time.
So now she (for work) is in need of another PC. I have not keep track of what company(s) provide the best cost-to-performance/reliability ratio for pre-built PC's (cause i build my own).
So she needs a PC for work (accounting programs) and the basics (email, youtube, web surfing etc) for less than $500. Any advice on specifics PC's for me to inform her of or companies that offer what she needs in that price range? This might seem like a simple dumb post but i just want to double check, i dont want to tell her right away to just get a basic Dell then i learn _____ company makes a way better computer for the same price that i hadnt known about.
She has a monitor, and her Mouse & Keyboard.
So to recap, essentially the most important things are reliability, and price. It wont ever be used for gaming and shes not worried about boot times lol.
