I have had 2 Enermax PSUs die in the past 3 years. One was 3 years old, the other was 2. I am looking to upsize my current PSU for my main unit from 431 to 500 Watts. Any idea of the AX500-A (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817104934) by the FSP Group is any good? I have an Abit NFS-7 2.0 motherboard. Thanks.

Very good, and that particular unit is very popular as a result. More than enough power for most systems.
Not sure if I am seeing things correctly, but it looks like the power cable from the PSU has 12 "plugs" and my motherboard has 10. This picture here shows the size of the power plug. Looks elongated compared to my other one. Any idea if this would be an issue? Thanks.

That's a 20+4 modular ATX connector - just slide the 4 end pins off if you need it for a 20 pin motherboard.
