I was at work today and I got a call from my brother. He tells me that he moved all my computer guts (without my permission) to my old case. I was planning to do this anyways so at first I was pleased. Then he told me that the power supply is not turning back on. He believes it's a loose wire. Well, he messed around with it and got my computer to power back up. Now it's making a high pitch noise. I've looked up on Google and many people came to different conclusions on what it maybe. I tried seeing if it was dust but nope, noise is still there. Afraid I'm going to have to make the trip up to Frys. I was already gonna make the trip up there to get a new graphics card but looks like I got to get 2 things on my plate. What is a good, inexpensive, power supply? I'm sticking with the same specs I have in my signature but my old case now has 5 blue LED fans.
 
Well it depends on what video card you were planning on upgrading to. So please tell us that and we can start recommending a PSU.

Though if you're just upgrading to the HD 5770, the $50 Corsair 400CX 400W PSU is enough.

The 9800GT is the same exact card as the 8800GT in your sig. In addition at $115, that's a complete ripoff considering that the faster HD 4850 1GB can be had for $110.

Whether your upgrade to the HD 4850 1GB or the HD 5770, the Corsair 400CX recommended earlier is the bare minimum I'd recommend for those video card upgrades.

Cool thanks. TBH, I want to stick with Nvidia. I've had an ATI card already and I wasn't impressed. Trying to stay within a $100 range for graphics card but that is for another topic.

The problem with NVIDIA these days is that unless you spend $350 or more, you're going to get p***-poor performance and/or features for the money that you're going to spend. That 9800 GT is, as Danny Bui stated, is the exact same GPU as the 8800 GT in your sig. You're getting a nearly three-year-old GPU (and not one of the very top performers even back then) at a price that is about $30 to $40 too high. And NVIDIA has absolutely nothing that's noteworthy for anything less than $300 at the moment.
