heres my system specs:

MSI K8N Neo Platinum (nvidia chipset)
Athlon64 3200+ @ 2.21 stock (Clawhammer Core)
1GB Kingston HyperX PC-4000
Nvidia 6800 Ultra AGP Graphics Card

... is the clawhammer cored A64 crap for OCing?

please help

ps. if you know anything about OCing the ram or anything else im willing to try it out for the hell of it..

Read this first: A64 OC Guide
That has a lot of good information for you. It would be too hard for someone to walk you through it step-by-step here (in detail anyway). Maybe for a general OC, but for me, it takes hours of testing and tweaking to get everything just right.

So, read through the guide and try some stuff out and if you have a specific question - post that. There are plenty of guys here that will help you if you get stuck on something ;)

I have my A64 3000+ running at 2.3 Ghz so you should be able to do better than mine. I have another link to a pretty good tutorial- problem is, it's at home. I'll try to get it to you tomorrow. Good luck!
And by the way, it is VERRRRRRY time consuming.

Thats too bad, let us know how you did when you get the opportunity to try it. ;)

If stability is an issue for you, check it with Prime95 or something like that. I usually use 3dmark01 and Prime95 together to check for stability.
