Danny's build is good. You could spend up to your max budget by upgrading the CPU to a Phenom II X4 and maybe upgrade to a bit better of a motherboard. For the money his is pretty spot on though.

bump it up

No offense, due to your requirement of buying every part from one place, relatively light requirements, and your low budget, really not much variety here. I mean if you want to see more options, please state what else you're looking for in a gaming PC. Whether a different case, different sized PC, etc, etc

Out of curiosity, how much is my build once tax and shipping is factored in for you?

So roughly $50 or so.

Well that leaves you enough money for either a HDD upgrade or a case upgrade or even one of the PSU + case combos that hossdaddy linked to.

How does a AM2 5400+ Brisbane perform?

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400+ Brisbane 2.8GHz $52.99

The reason I ask is cause my friend has a BNIB AM2 board thats he's willing to give to me.

ECS GeForce6100SM-M2

Of course this would mean different ram so how about-

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) $89.99

Would WoW run good on this system at 1920x1080?

The X2 5400+ is an extremely slow CPU compared to the $60 Athlon II X2 245 let alone the $95 Athlon X4 635. It would not run well at 1920x1080 as WOW has become very CPU heavy in the past few years. You'd have to get DDR2 RAM for free in order for that planned setup to be worthwhile.

So yeah, you're better off with the newer setup I quoted above.

Actually how does a GTX 260 (core 216) compare to a 5770?

The GTX 260 offers similar performance to the HD 5770 but uses significantly more power and does not support DX11. Right now, most GTX 260 cards are either A) stupidly overpriced at $170 to $200 or B) cheap as hell but has zero warranty left (basically the BFG GTX 260 cards).

So if low power, warranty and DX11 are important, the GTX 260 is not a good choice.

Well i currently have a GTX 260 and was thinking about purchasing a GTX 460 for my Sig Rig and putting the 260 into the new system for the S/O, how does that sound?
