I have a 2.40C running at 3.3GHz at 1.575v. CPU-Z displays it as 1.536v. I want to get this thing up to 3.6GHz but my 865PE Neo2-S doesn't have the option of 1.65v, just 1.6v and 1.7v, etc. I was wondering whether 1.7v would be ok, or should I just forget about it?

Now that I look at it, I don't think this is a good idea... maybe I'll add some more Ceramique to the processor...

Your Neo board showing higher than average temps like Abit? If not, your temps are high.

i'm at 1.7v with my 2.4c. i have the zalman 7000cu along with 6 case fans providing cooling and everything is ok, prime is stable and temps are not bad (in signature)

i would never go any higher then 1.7v and consider that an absolute max, however mine is running fine.

that is with an abit 1c7 but temps are ok even if abit is off by 9 degree's i'd still only be at 60.

sounds like u have a highly overclockable 2.4c. make sure u have the hs fitting correctly and u have good venelation cause thats too hot in my opinion for stock voltage at that speed. if i were u id be dying to see how far i could get it... goodluck flapperhead
