Need Help Improving Airflow

Here is a quick diagram of my new rig's airflow. I purchased 1 extra 120mm fan and placed it in the front for intake, but I don't think it is correct overall. I hate the fact that the PSU and GPU fans are blowing directly onto each other, but because of the case, PSU, and card's design, I don't feel there is a way to do it differently. Would adding a fan on the door help?

I am reluctant to add any other fans too because the case is already noticeably loud when turned on and idle. Here is the case:

Temps are great, really great, so no complaints there. I spent time and tied up wires and moved them out of the way of every airflow.

And just for reference, green means air going into the case, red is out, and purple is the direction inside (in case that wasn't blatantly obious :p ). And the faded grill part is the location of my door opening, where a fan could be.

You can place a 120mm intake at the front top of your case at the cost of 3 5.25" drive bay slots. You also might be able to fit a 120mm intake at the bottom of your case.
Your PSU air flow is going the wrong way. Heat that goes through your PSU will make the air hotter. Therefore that should be oriented as an exhaust. You don't want to blow more hot air into the case.
And if I were you, I would orient your cpu heatsink fan to exhaust towards the rear of the case. This will create one 'flow stream' once you mount the top 120mm intake fan.

What the heck is wrong with your PSU and GPU?

Since when do PSUs or GPUs fans have their fans reversed and blowing away from them? You have them backwards.

This is what really should be happening. I have never seen a modern mainstream PSU or GPU that blows into the case. Remember, the side that the fan struts and fan frame are on is blowing out. The side where you see the hub and fins are on is sucking in.

What is your PSU and videocard? Did you just mix up the direction the fan was blowing???

Ah, ya I mixed up the direction that the PSU was going, that was dumb.

Unfortunately I dont think I have the option to put a fan where you indicated vj.

I'll be turning the CPU HSF tonight for sure, much better idea than the way I have it.
 
What about your videocard? What kind of crazy videocard has the fan blowing out instead of onto the heatsink to create static pressure?

Your problem is that you have your CPU HSF with the fan on the wrong side. It doesn't really matter if it is blowing to the back or to the top. The issue is you have it pulling air through the heatsink instead of blowing air through it. The fan needs to either be on the bottom if you are exhausting up or on the right hand side if you are exhausting back. Heatsinks will always perform better with fans blowing into them.
 
Don't flame me on this, I am just asking. Thinking about the results with the H50, where there is a marked decrese in temps when the back rear fan pulls in cool air, instead of exhausting...what about having the rear exhaust fan pulling in cool air?

if cool air is coming in from the back and hitting the cpu heatsink, which is then pulled in and up, exhausting out the top, would that help?
 
For some reason I doubt it. I would think that it might even increase your temperatures from the disruption in air flow. On the H50, it decreases temperatures on the CPU because it pulls cold air across the radiator rather than preheated air from your case. However, in that particular case, it also has the side effect of dumping the heat into your case (although you could argue it would be in your case regardless) and often disrupting airflow, causing increased temperatures elsewhere (e.g. chipset).

Then again, I'm not exactly an expert in fluid dynamics.
