Need help deciding motherboard

So im in the need of a new pc and im on a budget. budget is about $800 canadian and i need a copy of windows to so take off 110 for that and we're left with 690-700$

I want to get a higher end motherboard so i dont have to worry about upgrading in the near future (1 because i'll be using oem windows, 2 because i hope to keep this motherboard for a while) So with that said. heres what i have picked out so far

someday later i'll get a gpu but for the time being i'll have to stick with integrated graphics :(

The motherboard should have pcie 2.0 and a decent integrated gpu, support for quad cores (for future upgrades) and solid caps

any suggestions would be appreciated!
 
i dont plan on putting a 9950 in it at the moment but possibly someday in the future.. plus the s2h dosnt have solid caps which is a big downer to me

Unless you want to stick a 9950 into it. The ASUS' is just plain ugly and has some bad reviews. Your other option is for wait for the 790GX. If you're in the Vancouver area I've got cop(ies) of Vista retail I'm trying to unload :p

The Gigabyte board he picked out is the updated version of the one you linked too, his version has dedicated memory for the IGP among other improvements.
 
I know my boards, the one he posted is the same board with 125w tdp support and sideport, which really doesn't do much in real world scenarios other than 3dmark. Also costs 20-30 bucks more depending where you buy. So there is a major difference in price but not in features.
 
Im sticking to that board still unless somting better comes out.. money spent on the board is not an issue i'd rather spend more than upgrade later... and by later i mean quite a few years.. i want this thing to be as reliable as the machine im running now (dual pIII 500mhz (lol), 512 ram (133mhz woot), and geforce 4mx, 3x 19gb hd's, cd burner)... so as you can see reliability is key and the solid caps would help. I took that power supply suggestion, i've heard good things about that psu so i thought why not...
