It may not even be called cloning.
Basically my boot drive is failing, and I need to copy everything over to my new drive and have it be bootable as though it was the original.
I have tried all different programs and the drive never comes out bootable, even if it is identical in space used it still won't boot.
The compounding aspect of this is, I don't know when my drive is going to completely crap out on me, and every time I reboot it could be the last time I get my computer up.
I have been trying freeware solutions, but if I really have to pay for a program I am at this point willing, though that is not preferred.
