Hello everyone, I've been having crazy computer issues, but this thread isn't about that. I'm reformatting at the moment, and I was wondering about certain drivers.

I have the Gigabyte official chipset/sound/network/usb and my nvidia driver.

I was reading I should have a SATA driver for my SSD?

I was wondering if there is a newer chipset driver,

I have a gigabyte GA-z68x-ud3-b3

and an ocz vertex 3 SSD.

This help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

AFAIK, there's no specific SATA drive for a SSD. There are however SATA drivers for your motherboard's two SATA controllers (Intel RST and Marvel) available from Gigabyte's website.

Though since that's an OCZ SSD, you should see if it came with the latest firmware and update it if it didn't.

I updated the firmware when I bought it before Christmas, unless you think there is a newer one.

Not sure. I don't keep up on OCZ firmware updates as I generally don't recommend OCZ SSDs.
