I have been told by a local friend of mine, that gaming performance can be slightly better, and also your OS, by installing and running games on a separate HD then the OS.
I am not talking a RAID setup, just using a second formatted HD in your computer, to which you manually install games to. I tried it for a short time (about 1 week) on my older X2 machine, but didn't take the time to benchmark any performance increases. (if any.)
Is it worth it to have a games drive separate from your OS drive?
Probably a stupid question, but..
Forgive my noobness!
