i have 2.0 creative itrigue 2200 speakers, i would like to buy a woofer to boost game performance. it must be:

-small
-able to push out serious bass
-attractive
-not over $100
 
I would say that something on ebay would be good. Something along the lines of the Infinity Entra One or a JBL 150.

worst OR not... what else can you get for 100 bucks? ... that speakers he has are 2.0 ... subwoofer-less..... that dayton will beat out any logitech systems... the Klipsch promedia ultra sub.. and creative gigaworks 7.1 system's sub.... because this thing is a REAL subwoofer... get it man, and don't look back. .. And also, how are you planning to drive this sub? do you have a sub preout on those speakers?
 
Hmm, that is true, the only speaker outputs it has are high level, if you use high level inputs... If you went right from the computer, it'd be, of course, low level... It is possible that you could hook up the low level from the computer to the high level inputs and then hook the speakers up there, but I'm not really sure.
 
I really like SVS Subwoofers like the PB10 though they don't have a built in crossover I believe.
