Need a new (smaller) case

I'm currently using an Antec P182, but have decided i need a smaller case as a lan alot, and that thing is just way too big and heavy for me to move around. I'm trying to be cheap, and stay well below the $100 mark.

I'd like to find a case that is more portable (weighs less, the size of the p182 wasn't thaaaat big of deal to me.. even though it is pretty big, ha), and at least comparable cooling.

so far i've been looking at the antec 300, antec 600, and cooler master storm scout.

i'm leaning towards the storm scout, as i can get it for about 54 AC from newegg, but I was just curious if anyone had any other ideas/ inputs?

Thanks.

that one looks nice, but unless i read it wrong, it wouldn't have enough room for my harddrives (4 atm), thank you for the recommendation though!

thanks for the suggestions guys! I think i'm leaning more towards the 300 right now, as from what i can read it has better air flow, and is a bit lighter. I have an antec carrying strap so not having a handle isn't that big of deal.

P180mini... the larget mATX case you will find (basically a P180/P183 with three fewer expansion slots and a changed drive bay layout).

Otherwise, I'd recommend a lanbox, like the SG02, but I found it a serious pain to get all the cooling stuff I wanted into there.

CM690II Advanced.

It's not super compact, but its smaller than my other cases and feels roomier.

i'll look into those, as i'm probably going to wait for a sale on the 300 before i buy it, so if I found something i liked more before that time, I'd have no problem changing my mind

i have an AbitIP35-E, which i'm pretty sure is ATX, and a ATI 4890 and an e8400 oc'd to about 3.6 with a zalman cooler (can't remember what it is off the top of my head) so airflow is pretty important to me

I gotta put in a vote for the Storm Scout. It's advertised as the ultimate LAN case, and I gotta say, that is absolutely correct. It's not that heavy, it's SUPER solid, has great cable management/cooling capacity, and the built in handle is a freakin' godsend. I'm not sure how well water cooling would work in one, but air cooling is a breeze (haha)

In my opinion, if you LAN a lot and don't want to go mATX, the Storm Scout is the only case you should be looking at.
