After 7 years my Epson R280 has called it quits.

Now I am in need of a new color printer. I use it mainly for printing CD/DVD covers and disks. I have a B&W laser for documents.

The problem I am running into now is everything is a damn all in one. I have no need for the crap scanners that are included, let alone the larger size. I have a Canon Canoscan 8800F that these all in nones can't touch.

Cliffs
1. Need a color inkjet printer.
2. Must be able to print to disk.
3. All in ones need not apply.

Epson for quality at high cost (and with potentially more issues with ink drying out if you use it infrequently). Canon for low cost and decent quality. HP if it was given to you for free.

For printing on optical discs, I would generally stick to Epson.

I guess from your post.....HP is JUNK ? just wondering because im looking for a New printer....
