Need a Linux Laptop! Any suggestions?

I am a network security guy so I want to load snort, metasploit, wireshark, and a whole slew of utilities for sniffing packets and analysis.

So I want 2 gb atleast

help a brotha out!
 
Any Nvidia graphic based laptop for starters, ATI drivers are still not as good as Nvidia's.

I cant see any better bang for the buck that Dell's Vostro series atm. I used to run gentoo on a Toshiba back in the day, but they are not cheap, never where.

You are looking for a laptop that has linux preinstalled, or a laptop that is compatible with linux? You can just install linux on the Vostro....
 
I would go for a Lenovo laptop. The thinkpads all have linux drivers ready for ya :)

IBM/Lenovo is very good with supporting linux systems and they have tons of drivers that they actually continually update :)
