My 300watt PSU has just died and i want to get a new one. I noticed they are expensive for PSU of 400watt and above. Since I dont like my old case, I want to get a new one. Im just wondering if this is a good deal...

That case is a very common case. It'll do you just fine. And the PSU should be sufficient as well.
 
quick question... whats the difference between the

Antec Plus 1080AMG Metallic Gray File Server Case - 430W TruePower PSU (CA-001-AT)

and the

Antec SX1040BII Black SOHO File Server Case - 400W SmartPower PSU (CA-007-AN)

yeah the power supply is 30watt less but the price is a lot cheaper....
 
Hmm.

The PLUS 1080 has a blowhole, and comes with a TruePower 430W power supply. (That's a premium line PSU.) The Performance Plus II SX1040 has no blowhole, and comes with a SmartPower 400W power supply.

If you try to buy them retail, the TruePower 430W will be something like $30 more than the SmartPower.
 
What is a blowhole? also does the case with the 430watt PSU come with fans? if so what fans does it come with?

Blowhole = side or top panel fan.

Pretty Pictures - The grille on the side panel is the cover for the blowhole fan.

Anyway, the PLUS 1080 should come with a pair of rear exhaust fans and a blowhole intake fan. All Antec ball-bearing (I think) fans; basically they're the 80mm Pro Clear Fans, only not clear. :p
