So my boss has 3 samsung LCD monitors and one finally died. He got a replacement (for about $300) and its got a dark picture, its a refurb. So rather then dealing with samsungs repair we can just buy 3 new monitors for ABOUT the same if not a bit more... anyway.. he needs the smallest bezel possible, naturally he has 3 monitors and doesnt want a big thick black thing between the two.

Can anybody recommend any monitors that have a very tiny bezel? I think dell had some? Only thing is he does not wand widescreen. Lemme know.

Dell is probably your best bet, or HP. There are some gems which are discontinued too.

Any other important factors? Is the LCD technology/quality important? Resolution?

I'd recommend a 27" U2711h. About the same price as 3 Sammys, and is a h-IPS display with much better color accuracy (vs TN panel), color gamut (vs... nearly everything short of pro displays), and likely nearly the same res and physical desk space used for a triple monitor setup.

No 27", wants 3 19" but im not sure which dell have the tiny bezels

i agree 27-30in use a 30in coming from a 24in and you will never go back you cant like using a super nes then getting the cance to use ps3 fr a hour, lol

a single widescreen is no good for doing work

you could buy 3 used viewsonic vx924
not sure if the bezel is thin enough but it certainly isn't very big

Sigh... Anybody even read what I wrote I stated we needed 19" not 24" or 30" we need 10" but thin bezel

Yes, I did. And if you answer my questions I could pinpoint an excellent choice for you, so long as you aren't picky about whether its new or discontinued.

Yeah i figured on the acers. We have them all over our office, the bezels about what my boss has now. We may try it out... i said go with a widescreen but he wants 4:3

Maybe three IPS widescreen U2410 in portrait mode? Would be about the same in width, but still much taller. Might help him ease into the widescreen world. :)

I'm sorry most people aren't helping you. And I'm sorry Jeremy is trolling.
