Got a new monitor that's 1440x900 and a MB with only PCIe and PCI slots. The only cards I have that support it are APGs. I need a lead on a card for either type of slot that will support 1440x900. I have been searching but cards specs mostly only list max resolutions and the few that do list them all don't have 1440x900 support. I will be using it for non-gaming applications, mostly spreadsheets. Please if you KNOW of a card, that's still available and inexpensive, I could really use the lead. :)

Pretty much every PCI-E card ever made will support 1440x900 just fine, just look for whatever's cheapest that's relatively new (GeForce 8000 series and up, Radeon 3000 series and up).

QFT. My 7900GS, 7600GT, and 8800GT all supported 1440x900.

I seriously think EVERY PCI-E card ever made does support that resolution since it showed up for the 6 series and Xx00 series.

My "backup" card, a 7300GS, supports 1440x900. I have a 19" Dell monitor that has a native res of 1440x900, and lemme tell ya, if you want a nice gaming card you really only have to go as high as the Radeon 4850 or Geforce 9800GTX+. I picked up a GTX 275 and its a bit on the overkill side (I can CRANK Mirror's Edge, NFS Undercover, Gears of War, Crysis Warhead...)
