NCIX Service?

I ordered a XFX 5870 XXX super cool porn name edition from ncixus last week. The card showed in stock when I ordered it, and continued to show in stock for another 12 hours or so until it disappeared. They did not ship my card out before new year's day, but they did charge me in full :rolleyes:

I didn't have any problem ordering from them since they looked pretty good from resellerratings.com and the only other place I could find the card was newegg- and I don't like using newegg anymore since I have had too many bad experiences.

Right now I strongly suspect that they don't even have a card for me, and are not going to ship it on monday, but have charged me for it anyways. Is this consistent with their service? Anyone else had this experience? I saw some old posts about people waiting to get their 5850's & 5870's from ncix- but no one really followed up on whether they got it or cancelled their orders or what.

I wish I could get one locally, fry's only has the 5850, I can hardly think of any online stores that have never completely screwed me over. Amazon, I guess- but they don't even seem to sell these cards directly, maybe outpost.com- but now that they are fry's.com they just don't have the same variety of hardware.

What to do? I think I will have to suffer through voicemail hell tomorrow, but I have a feeling that they will just string me along and say that my card is ready to ship, but not actually ship it.
 
I ONLY buy from NCIX for me and everyone I build systems : thousands $ each year. They always give me a great service. I particularly like their pricematch system allowing me to have the best price around the internet while shopping from only one place.

I suggest you start a ticket by email. They reply promptly.
 
Thanks, I already put in a ticket. Hopefully that will help. They better ship it tomorrow, still can not believe that they charged me without shipping it.

NCIX is solid. I've had no problems. Long wait on some Lian Li cases I ordered a bit over a year ago, but everything else has been very fast.

I've had better service using their forum than any phone in "tech" that I've talked to at other e-tailers, one that's "orange with black stripes" that I'll NEVER deal with again for example. ;)
 
they just got back to me stating that my video card still will not ship because fedex took the day off and is not operating, bullshit.

oh, and dear newegg. Your billing department botched my order to the point that my bank cancelled my debit card because they said you revealed my information to unauthorized individuals, so I not only had to wait for my stuff to arrive which was delayed(and then the RMA of a defective item was delayed), I had to wait for a new debit card too. Beyond that, other orders have gone slower than they should have for no apparent reason. I have found newegg to have 2 speeds, stop and slow- and I don't think I would trust them again with any important purchase.
