My Setup?

Howdy all,

I am posting my setup that I am parting together to see what you all think of the setup. I am going to be using it to run VMware and cut my teeth on some new things.

Some stuff is still on its way. Just curious to see where I stand.

Look good what I would change would be getting a 8600gt and a 24" monitor.

The 8600gt would be like 10-20 bucks more and 24" monitors can be found for good prices 200-300 bucks.

I got a 22" monitor and wish I had a 24".....but when I got mine the 24" ones where still like 700 bucks.

Why the 780i mobo if you're not SLIing or gaming much? Think it's a bit overkill?

I am not too concerned with gaming at the moment, but with a setup like this, I can easily change my mind with some new video cards and a new PSU.

I'd get the 750i SLI board over the 780i. 95% of the features for somewhat less money.
