I am using the Cool-It Domino ALC to cool my processor. It's a solo loop.

The north bridge and south bridge are on another loop using the Foxconn Blood Rage 1/2" barb block with a DangerDen GT 120mm Rad w/ SilenX 120mm fan, MCP350+XPCS top with 1/2" barbs and an EK bay reservoir with the flow indicator built into it.

The Asus EAH4870's are similar to Thermaltake Du-Orbs that came stock on the Radeons.

For the fanbus i'm using the NZXT Sentry LX.

I am currently waiting on a Lamptron 4 channel rheobus, 3 Aerocool 120mm turbine fans and 1 Cooljag Everflow to replace the huge Coolmaster fans I had to take off the side panel (because the Cool-It Domino ALC got in the way) and from top (where the rad now sits).

It's all inside of a Coolermaster HAF932 being powered by an Antec TruePower Quattro 1000 Watt PSU.

are you just using a 120.1 radiator to cool the northbridge?
 
Yes sir. Well it's for the whole heatpipe that has the NB, SB, and voltage regulators. It's the water cooling block that came with the BloodRage. Why?
 
cause people usually cool CPU or video cards, and if they feel the need to, they cool the NB
 
It's gonna look a little more crazy Illuminate. Tomorrow I'm expecting my Lamptron Rheobus to come in the mail with 4 more 120mm case fans so I can put another at the top and 3 on the side panel. I'll post newer pictures tomorrow :D

Then a few days, the order I just placed should be coming in with my thermo sensor stop fitting )which will replace my ordinary stop fitting on the back of my EK bay res), T block, Drain port and a bunch of Koolance compression nozzles to replace the ugly hose clamps.
 
I like it, whats that coolant you're using? It looks like skim milk!
 
LOL! It's Innovatek Protekt IP, it's clear fluid but once it starts pumping it gets soapy.

I'm actually gonna try this new fluid xp+nano stuff that recently came out.

:rolleyes: No mean to flame but do tell me why you would want to try that over just straight distilled? Do you think it's non-conductive or something? I don't see any reason why anybody would use anything like "fluid XP" or any of that crap over straight distilled. You want color? Get primochill UV tubing or add a drop or two of food coloring.

I agree. I tried out the premixed stuff and it was just a pain in the ass. My distilled still has a pink tint to it since it's nearly impossible to get all the dye out of my loop.
 
Added Lamptron Rheobus and 4 Aerocool Turbine fans and moved my Antec Spot fan in front of my Domino ALC rad to get push/pull config.

I also changed out the stock fan that came on the Domino ALC with a Cooljag Everflow, and as you can see the sensors still work and at high performance setting it runs at 1600 RPM @ 30.5 dbA 66.55 CFM.

Only 3 fans on the side because the Domino ALC takes up space (I had to remove my huge CM fan because of it)

You need entire power plant to power this machine? Setup is nice, how much power it consumes?
 
I'm not exactly sure how much power my system consumes.

As for distilled water to premixed fluid, isn't the premixed fluid better with heat dissipation because of the ethylene glycol medium. Not to mention the anti-corrosive and anti-bacterial properties.
 
Distilled will give you the best temps. You can pick up some biocide for a couple bucks from Petra's tech shop. It only takes about two drops to keep the loop clear of algae. Distilled is perfectly fine alone as far as heat dissipation. When you start adding all the extra chemicals to it you may even see temps increase.

As for the anti-corrosive properties, you only need that if you're mixing metals, IE: Aluminum and Copper. If you're mixing those components... well, you're pretty much screwed and whoever sold you those components should be shot. And believe me, companies still mix aluminum and copper in their WCing components. If you're using copper components you are fine and don't need anti-corrosive properties.

I guarantee you, if you pour a bottle of that stuff in your loop on your machine... it will die. Same goes for an entire bottle of distilled. The point is that a few drops of either mixed or distilled won't kill your system, but distilled can be bought for $1 to $2 per gallon from a grocery store. How much did that white stuff cost you?

Have to agree with the comments on the premixed vs distilled.

I've used Fluid XP - (not the magic nano stuff, but I doubt there's enough nano in there to make a diff)). Had some gunking issues, so went back to distilled water.

Am now using Feser One premixed -- but ONLY because I wanted the effect of the colors. Definitely prefer distilled with a bit of PT Nuke or a silver coil.

And on this topic, the best way that many people recommend is primochill UV LRT tubing OR food coloring. Mind you, only ONE OR TWO drops are needed.
 
Well after taking apart my loop and putting in a some minor things like compression fittings, thermo sensor stop fitting and a fill port the fluid actually cleared up. I guess it was just alot of air still stuck in the line that gave the Innovatek that soapy appearance.
 
How do you like the Cool-It Domino ALC ?
how does it perform for the CPU?
 
It's nice and quiet and performs well after I changed the stock fan that came with it, otherwise stock on high performance setting it's quite loud.

I get 88F on idle like 107 F on full load using Prime 95.

It's cheap for a dedicated single loop for the CPU but to be honest I thought that it would have been better then high-end air cooling. I bought it thinking that it would have saved me money and space, rather then having to spend almost the same amount of money on a CPU block alone.

I don't think its a bad solution for people who want to give water cooling a try without the worries and the mishaps from putting together their own loop and limited with space.
 
If your fluid is turning all milky like that it means you have got some serious air in your loop that needs to be bled. Read up on the stickys and faqs for bleeding procedures and follow them until you get clear fluid and you will see much better temps and probably have less noise too.
 
Distilled water is all I use with a few drops of highlighter to make the water glow under UV. I've run my loop for six months with no problems, just the tubing gets cloudy after a few months. I haven't had any issues with algae particles in the tubing that you get when using dyes.

Thanks but after I took apart my loop to connect the compression fittings and install a few minor things the air was like non existent.
 
I saw a cool youtube video of Fluid XP being poured into a power supply with the lid removed... needless to say, non-conductive was a lie. It did blow up nicely, lots of sparks and pops and smoke.
