Well folks as you can see by my sig. my system is ancient and it's time to start over. Given the amount of time I've waited, I wanted quality to be able to run the latest games at max. I want to place my order as soon as the heatsink comes available...what do you guys think? I want a 4.0 ghz OC like everyone else is getting :) Any suggestions? Whats the upgradeability of this system in terms of newer chips that will be released by Intel?-Socket 1366 chips in the future? And what fans should I order from Newegg for the heatsink?

Teh deed has been done...there is no turning back... Now all I have to do is find a place with a Prolimatech Megahalems RevB in stock since Newegg ran out of stock only after getting them in on July 19th. WTF!

Goddamn. If only you had posted in General Hardware subforum. Could have saved you $500 minimum and still get the same exact performance. You sure it's too late to cancel?

Socket 1366 is gonna be superceded by LGA 2011 in about a year from now actually.

ahh that's ok I been running this crappy system since 2006! I couldn't wait any longer lol..but what would you have changed tho? I'm guessing cpu, mobo and ram, but everything else is pretty much a necessity, if i showed you pictures of my current stuff you would cringe trust me lol. :p

Ok, not $500 :)D) but still a savings of $381 for a faster GPU setup, faster hard drive, better quality PSU with the same overclock capability. You're not gonna notice a difference in gaming performance between Windows 7 HP and Windows 7 Ult. Yes GTX 460 SLI is faster than the GTX 480:
