I'll fix them for him, since he posted this thread originally in Video Cards (THESE LINKS WORK):

And I will make one comment on the build: you don't need to spend that kind of money on the RevoDrive unless you do a LOT of disk-intensive stuff. You won't notice the difference between the Revo and a top-end SATA SSD unless you're doing file operations all day - if you're just gaming, spend your money on more capacity and either get an SATA Sandforce drive or a Crucial Real SSD.

1. 6900 series comes out in two days. Could cause a decent price drop on the GTX 500 series.

2. Sandy Bridge. You say you don't want to wait, but it comes out 10 days after xmas. You could get a 2600K stock clocked at 3.4GHz with a unlocked multi for the price of the Core i7 950. Seems like a no brainer to me.

3. You can get this SSD for 170 dollars after MIR http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...-_-na-_-na&AID=10521304&PID=3891137&SID=194r0. Comes with a 25 dollar GC to newegg on top of that.

I think he wants to buy today, to take advantage of this:

He could buy half the system today, but I'm not sure he would have the patience to wait a month to finish the build.

If you are going to Microcenter anyway, just pick up the i7-950 there. Its $200+tax.

Also if you didnt order already here is a combo for what looks to be the exact ram and MB you want. If you did already order maybe try to give them a call to refund the difference.

EDIT: Also I would recommend this PSU, I have never seen a good price on a PSU at microcenter, they only have good prices on processors usually.

Use promo code PSU126 to knock 20% off and get the price down to $97. I would jump on this as it keeps going out of stock.

Thx for all the tips guys.
Im actually sending the list out to my family and they're gonna buy me some of the parts on the list for xmas.
So im more interested in making sure they are quality components that will work well together.
So ill ditch the Revo and go with a Sandforce SSD.
Any other tips?

What case and PSU did you buy from Microcenter?

Additional questions:
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? etc.
