Hey guys, long time lurker first time poster. I built an NES computer, its been done before but i had never seen a dual core one. I upgraded the fans for cooling and tried to keep the front and sides looking as stock as possible. Here are the specs:
- Dual Core running @ 2.0 GHz
- 4Gigs RAM (Kingston 800 Mhz)
- 500 Gig Hard Drive (7200RPM Western Dig)
- B/G/N WiFi
- Retroports for playing with the old NES controllers :)

I put the whole build online, http://www.rachelprout.com

Let me know what you think!

First dual core NES mod? Maybe. First build log with pictures taken in a flower garden? Definitely.

That is badass though.

Very nice! I laughed when I read how much epoxy you used. Definitely an upgrade from stock as far as processing power goes.

However, it can't play catridges anymore; so I'd have to give mine the edge still.

Should've run the controller converters to one of the usb headers inside the case.

I'm not sure how it cost $800, but its pretty cool.

I think you're trying to peddle your PC in the wrong forum.

He's asking for an opinion, not a cost evaluation!

Awesome! Though it's getting a little less unique, as this isn't the only NES -> PC case mod I have seen lately...

Wouldn't this PC make a great HTPC as well? Given the motherboard used...
