Got a problem, my comp one day just froze up and restarted itself, when I came back on and was webbrowsing, I noticed all my bookmarks were gone....anyway to get em back? I use Firefox

ask the firefox gods for forgiveness ;)

like i told ya, keep a backup folder of FAVORITES from IE, then put that folder under
c:\docs settings\current user\favorites, then when u install FF u can just import ur junk form IE, thats how i always do it, i keep my favorites folder backedup on my server and my 2nd hard drive so i havce several copies....

but man it sounds strange for your situation. and i really dont kno where FF keeps its list of bookmarks

but the thing is i dont' use IE so my favorites aren't even stored there. this sucks.....i need to start backing up my ish then.....

Tsami, I don't know why in the world you would think a problem with your Firefox bookmarks is an issue for General Hardware. Per The Rules:

(13) POST to the forum that is most appropriate for the topic being presented. Threads incorrectly placed will be moved or locked.

firefox favorites are kept in
Code:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<something>\bookmarks.html

odds are, though, if they aren't loading then they're gone. sucks
