Welcome one and all to the Spring 2006 running of the "Most Valuable N00b" event!

Since we have fewer participants than anticipated, the format will change to a 3 week balls to the wall points fest.

The race officially starts Thursday, June 1st.

Competing for the UD MVN award we have Viper87227 and OSUGuy98.

Competing for the F@H MVN award we have bob and justakid.

2 days to warm up and then we'll roll. Let the smack talk begin. :D

Not at all. As of right now, I am out-producing him with just 2.7GHz. There is no need to switch over any F@H boxes.

However, in a bit ill be getting a 2.6Ghz Semp UDing. Should do very nicely :).

oh no...that sucks....time to invest in same big box fans and opening your windows at night and sealing the house in darkness during the day. Hopefully your oppenent is suffering from the same :)

Damn you and your 9 cpus... Im still waiting to find these secret stashes of fast computers for $5.00 that people keep mentioning. Spokane seems completley dry of anything worth taking. Who's been whoring up the PC's :mad:.

My two A64 rigs are giving my box fan in the window some meaning to life. It was 110F in my room last night when I shut the window and left for work :eek:.

As for smack-talking... Your on watch, justakid... As soon as I find the secret stash of fast PCs, ill be folding so hard the power company wont know what hit em.

The key is in the borg. My main rig is just a lowly sempron, I envy athlon 64's.

Ooooooh man. All the more reason to win. I just added 5.6Ghz to my UDing efforts... gives me 8.6 total, and I'll be adding another 2.5 to that next time I work.

I'm gonna pull an Enron here, and I'm gonna have roftranspo go ahead and start folding and UD'ing for Justakid and OSU - all the while excercising options to have another 20ghz fold and UD for Justakid and OSU.

if you haven't noticed i've lost some of my borgs too. my proudction in the past few days haven't been all that great. it may just be a pretty good race.
