Multi vendor setup?

Hi again =)

Last night, my buddy told me about some PCI Radeon HD 2400 he's willing to give me for free (well, not exactly, gotta play wingman a few nights) and I was wondering if I can put it in a system with NVidia PCI-E or AGP cards. Will drivers be an issue? System is Windows Vista...

With Vista, you can only have a single manufacturer video driver so you cannot use that ATI card in conjunction with an Nvidia card regardless of interface. With XP and Windows 7 however, you can freely use ATI and Nvidia cards in the same system.
 
Well, actually I didn't wanna use Windows 7 RC on any other machine and wait 'til you can buy it. But since it won't work with Vista I guess I'll simply have to...
