I know there is no such thing as a future proof system but I would like to make this system as much future proof as possible. While I would like to make this system somewhat of a high-end, money do matters, so for example: in case of a RAM I would like to buy 8GB for now and when the time is right I would like to buy another 8GB and add to it.

While I would like to play games I would not like to make this system solely for games.

I know absolutely nothing about CPU casing, Graphics Card and PSU's.

I would like to use this system to build applications and Games for Android, web development and play some heavy games which will be released in the future which I can't already play on my i5 laptop with intel hd4000.

Applications I would like to use almost daily:
Eclipse, Android emulator, Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, GTA IV (V if it ever gets released ), Notepad++, Firefox, Chrome, Virtual PC, Visual Studio, Action/RPG games( I haven't played anything other than CS Source but would like to test some heavy games like Skyrim and stuff).

Operating System I am planning to use: Windows 7, Ubuntu, and Mac OS X(haven't decided the version yet) on Multi-Boot.

I would like to buy a 23 inch screen with 1920 x 1080 Pixels and maybe later add a couple more monitors to it or get a 32 inch Television instead.

What I have found online: This is just what I think I should have:

Okay, so here is the final list: (please note this is the price I am getting in India, where I live)
If you find anything wrong with this, please let me know.

G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) 1600 Mhz - $110
Cooler Master Enforcer - $123
Logitech G300 Gaming USB 2.0 Mouse - $25
TVS-e Champ Media Plus - $13
Asus 23 inch VX238H-W LED Backlit LCD Monitor - $250
Creative SBS A520 5.1 Speaker - $55
Western Digital 2tb Hard Diskdrive (wd20ezrx) - $100
Corsair RM650 PSU - $134
ZOTAC GTX 770 - $440
Intel Core i7-4790K Processor (8M Cache, up to 4.40 GHz) - $400
GIGABYTE Z97 - $250-300

Possible future upgrades: Additional RAM, Graphics card.

Do you have a link where you're buying parts from?

How much at most do you want to spend on this build?

Do you plan on overclocking?

Which games do you plan on playing?

Flipkart.com or amazon.in

A little under USD 2000

I have no experience with overclocking but I'd like to try. If you think it is not a very easy thing to do, I will change the CPU and motherboard.

Call of duty (all) GTA (all) crysis, skyrim. Anything else with guns :) what do you recommend. Will there be something that this system won't be able to handle?

I need some time to go through your links as I have a few recommendations in mind. But here's what I can tell you at first glance....

You need to add an SSD for use as your primary storage drive. It will outperform the HDD in startup, loading, and random access speeds.

Do you already have a legit copy of Windows available? If not, were you going to buy it alongside the rest of your parts?

OK on the SSD, but i didn't find any good ssd in the link above.

I already own a couple of legit copies of Windows Ultimate.

So the Samsung 840 Evo, Samsung 840 Pro, Samsung 850, Crucial MX100, or Crucial M500 series SSDs are not available?

I couldn't find Samsung 850, but I didn't know that Samsung makes good SSD.
Crucial M500 120GB is available.

Now, many people tell me to wait for Maxwell, 8xx, DDR4 and Mobo of X series to be released.
What do you think?

Go for the 240GB model. You'll have better performance and more room for your key programs.

Can you afford to wait for Maxwell?

I wouldn't buy 2 x 4 GB. I'd buy 2 x 8. But that's just me.

Well someone else recommended me that as well. He said if I choose to upgrade later it would be harder if I do with 2 x 4 GB.

One guy said, that the RAM has heat spreader or something , so it would be better to have multiple over one single. Is it true?

I can only get 120GB for a good company, so I will get two.

Yes, I can surely wait for Maxwell. I will wait then.

Thanks

If you plan to overclock, get a better PSU and good cooling. Look at my rig for sale as a good example. It can clock to 4.4Ghz without trying. I wish I had the time to experiment more because I know it would go higher. And the temps are great at full load with Prime95.

People tell me that overclocking is hard and sometimes not worth the trouble. So I would like to keep it stock.

How do I look at your gig at sale? Link?

Thanks
