I ran memtest 64 for about 9 hrs straight or so i thought when i checked it later 9 hrs later it wasnt running does that mean bad ram ? i ran the indefinite program

Did the PC crash/freeze? It doesn't necessarily mean bad ram, it could have been a number of PC issues that cause the failure. memtest tests the memory, but in a way it's also a torture test.

You need to observe during the test for more data.

no it ddint freeze or but it has been known to crash on me with BSOD and reboot while surfing the net and gaming at times even youtube music sometimes will hang up

Something is failing or just mis-configured, but it's not necessarily the ram. If you run memtest again you need to observe it, to see if any errors are produced, that way you can rule ram out.
