So I received this mobo today. I put in a venice cpu along with 1 stick of crucial ballistix pc3200. Connected it to an Antec NEOPOWER 480 psu. I hit the power switch on the back of the psu and the mobo turned on??wtf?
No post, the 4 lights on the usb translated too "checking chipset" according to the manual.

I also tried an older 939 cpu and the same thing happened.

I've tried it in and out of the case. I've tried the ram in all slots.

It just turns on when I hit the psu switch. Then manual states you need a psu with a -5v lead. The neopower doesnt have one.....not many psu's do. Is this the problem?

No, I would just unplug the ATX connector from off the mobo and then plug it back onto it. Something happened to me the other day similar to that, and that's how I fixed it.
