watch out for MSI rebates. the 8600GT rebate from MSI is the only one I have never received in 12 years of sending in MIRs.
 
Oh no, its approaching mid night and, I'm melllllttingg.

Damn I came so close to jumping on this. I'd have to cut into my HDD bay to make it fit, my 8800gt has about 1.5" gap and that card needs at least 3" more than the 8800gt (I'm approximating). after rebate and selling my 8800gt and getting $50 for using a new CC, damn I'd pay like ~$30-$40 for this thing, lol, so why didn't I buy it?? Will there be a better deal tomorrow?? Well I sure as hell hope so!!
 
This is freaking stinking hawt. Nice find. I would so jump on it if I needed the SLI. I already got one 260 and it's AMAZING. Very good buy at this price, and if you really get the rebate, that's pee your pants hot.

No worries. MSI is usually cheaper. Worse tech support, no aftermarket cooling or OC support, no step up, and no lifetime warranty. Great card for sure, but you get what you pay for. I'm not saying don't buy one. If it's going to be my second card for SLI (if I needed one, I mean) then I would buy MSI for sure, especially at this price!
 
Never mind. I can't order more than one from the same account with that code. So, I created another account and paid through PayPal. Sweet. Tri SLI

From what I understand, if you call them up, and the price has been revised, they can work out some sort of rebate or gift certificate.
 
$197.29 WITH tax & shipping? Yeah... there's no way I can't bite on this one. I'm building a system for a friend and also upgrading the family computer; thanks to this deal, someone will be getting an 8800GTS. Thank you poster for the SMOKIN deal - just made Christmas a little better. :D

The rebate says :"Rebate is not valid with any other promotional and or discounts"

I wonder if the newegg promo code counts, or if they only mean other MSI promos/discounts. I'm gonna jump on this if that rebate will work. Heck, even if you can't use the two together, it's still a better deal to use the rebate. That would make this $169 shipped, that's smokin hot!
 
Not bad, I bought mine yesterday from the egg, this will be my first time going away from EVGA videocard since the turn of the century!! I hope this card lives up since it should be reference board anyways.

As for the game, it was ok on the demo but the controls were annoying, and haven't heard great things about the full game. I gotta say laura looked great though.

after submit it, I got quick respond email from MSI rebate center pix below from my Live mail.







BTW, there is no free game, Rebate is working for me as final $164.38 best deal.

I am sorry since NewEgg removed the MIR link I assumed that it was dead. My mistake and thanks for the correction.

FYI M$ cash back of would be $5.50 so I guess if you add that back the deal is slightly sweeter.
 
Thanks for the rebate- lol i ripped myself off and bought this on December 5th for more- but the rebate still saved me $20 even now nonetheless. :D
