Have any of you considered the possibility that Dell was promised sufficient 8800GTs from MSI by 12/10, but MSI failed to provide said 8800GTs?
Make sure you're blaming the right company here.
Then MSI sucks. Well Dell still sucks.

What could Dell have done to not suck in this situation?
Take orders for items they definitely have in stock.![]()
So any retailer to accepts backorders or preorders sucks?
ALL of their 8800GT orders have been "delayed" as such, not just MSI.
I just don't believe that is likely because then they wouldn't be able to sell full systems with such card, but guess what? They do!
What is more likely is that they messed up on their site and now are delaying orders on purpose to see how many cancel.
