  • I will not ship outside of the US for any reason.
  • I will not ship to non verified paypal addresses.
  • No heat = no way.
  • Low heat = I'll think about it.
  • I do accept and prefer paypal.
  • I will accept Amazon payments if you beg enough.
  • All of my hardware is tested and/or a working pull.
  • If you wait a month to tell me that it "doesn't work" then you have waited too long.
  • Do as I do and test your stuff ASAP.
  • I do guarantee non-DOA parts but I am not a retail store with an extended warranty.
  • Please ask questions about the hardware if you have any doubts about compatibility.

Great seller with great gear. Hope it moves fast and to a member of the [H].

I should be able to get the combos with prices put up after work this evening. :)

some serious points up for sale here

by the way, I had two of those E5640s for a while. I loved them. In fact....those might be the ones I owned :)

Got them past 4ghz pretty easily in the SR2. They would go well beyond that in a single socket mobo. Temps and power draw were excellent.

PPD?

At 4GHz I recall approximately 75-80k PPD. That was in Windows, on regular bigadv while using the box for other tasks. That was also before some PPD adjustments to the various WU. With bigbeta units in a native linux install I would guess you could hit 100K ppd.

Prior to bigbeta and the points nerf, those two E5640s in an SR-2 @ 4.15 GHz would do 92K ppd in Linux if memory serves. With bigbeta, I would guess over 100K now.

And yes jebo, those were yours...

nice. I think I had one of them running at 4.4ghz in a x58 before I got my Sr2
On air, btw, with temps below 60 iirc.

The one Z8NA combo has been sold.
Unfortunately, I have some misbehaving CPUs so the SR2 probably wont be paired up with some hex cores unless I decide to part with the ones out of my daily driver. I'll decide quickly so keep your eyes open. :)

I need to sell these quads :)
... so I lowered the prices a bit
hexes and SR-2 are still coming soon

Added a second dual hex Z8NA combo and lowered the prices on the quads a little more.

That is a DAMN good deal on that Z8NA combo with the twin hexes, same board and chip combo I run in my htpc.

Awesome 2nd Asus combo there, 80k PPD and low power draw. I reckon about 260w from the wall so thats ~300PPD/w. Got to be a bargin at $750

I'm 275w from the wall with mine while sporting 9 fans and a GT430. It should also make way more than 80K, mine does 65k in windows with regular bigadv... Linux and bigbeta will certainly take that over 100K.

Lowered the prices on the quads yet again.
The SR-2 should be up tonight.
SR-2 | 2xL5640 | 6x2GB | 1000W | +more

It looks like there may be a problem with my last set of L5640s so I'm doing some testing. If I can't get things sorted I'll sell the SR-2 by itself or combo it up with a set of the quads. I'll keep the thread updated.
