Whelp, I can tell you that the Intel X520 Dual Port 10Gb SFP+ Cards are *NOT* compatible with Shuttle XPS SH67 sff PC. It has onboard video, and a 16x PCIe express slot. When the NIC is put in the PCIe slot, the bios thinks it's a graphics card and tries to output video to the monitor from it. You can guess how that goes
Yes, I went into bios and toggled the "Primary video: onboard or PCIe?"
Yes, I reflashed to latest bios (it needed it, it was 4 iterations behind)
Yes, I tried everything. I spent the past 2 days doing this
Whelp, at least it seems compatible with my HP Microservers. Now to scrounge up a cheap ass PC to put one in so I can get to some serious multi TB transfers.

Tell you the truth, I have a TON of parts that I've "hoped" with. They end up being spares... sometimes they get used years later, sometimes I just have to give them away... an unfortunate part of the business.
But... pays doing it yourself than paying someone else! We sometimes charge people an arm and a leg when doing enterprise-level services, but that's just how it goes.
Those cards are highly sought for, though, tbh. You could easily sell it again on here. Those went like hot-cakes when I listed them. If someone asks me for them again I'll throw them your way!
