This reminds me of the scene in the 2nd wall street movie where Gecko gets out of jail and they hand him his brick phone. Pretty funny.

With so many free phones available from carriers that have better functionality than this ancient relic, why would someone get one? Somehow I don't see classic mobile phones being as popular as say classic cars.

I'm pretty sure I still have my StarTac from 2001 around here somewhere. That phone was the best. I was able to hook it up to my Palm IIIc with 2 cables and check my e-mail during class. I was so advanced.
