I have a 500gb sata drive and windows is only seeing it as 127gb. I know it has to do with installing the sata drivers during the windows installation, but I don't want to go back and reinstall everything again. Some people said to update the motherboard bios to see if it'll work, but is there any other solutions to this?

It has nothing to do with installing sata drivers during installation. it has to do with the fact that your Windows CD has no service pack in it....right?

the only options are to integrate sp2 in your CD (via nlite) and reinstall, or install sp2 and then purchase a drive imaging app that you can make an image of your current 128gb drive...then restore it to the full 500gb drive
