Ever wonder what people in other countries use Google to find? Apparently Pakistan likes searching for “terrorism,” “jihad,” and “Taliban.” Italy and the UK search for “Viagra” and the United States seems to really like “Burrito.”

Internet users in Egypt, India and Turkey are the world's most frequent searchers for Web sites using the keyword "sex" on Google search engines, according to statistics provided by Google.

Sadly,
I looked up "Burrito" this week to look for the Hardees Big Breakfast Burrito.
Maybe I should do my part to look for "Sex" or more like "Kill Terrorists"

Italy and UK look up "Viagra" huh? Don't they get ridiculous amounts of that in spam like the rest of us (Americans)? :p

I wonder how real that is? It almost seems to me like they are making stuff up there.

why would they do that?

It's easy to keep track of search queries. Just keep a log in each national domain (.com, .de, .uk, etc) and sort by number.

I think its bullshit to be honest. Yeah sure, maybe those are the most searched words after they apply a filter. But honestly "Burrito"? "Hangover"? Gimme a break.

Well, I guess we know what 16000 employees of Google are doing now...:D
