Okay, after almost six years (purchase date: 12/05), I think my Samsung SyncMaster 204T is going out. Each time I turn it ON, the screen flickers really fast, then the image goes out. I can see whatever is suppose to appear for a split second then it goes out. The On light remains, but no display. If I turn it OFF then ON again, it does the same thing, flickers for a split second, then goes out again. If I repeatedly trying to turn it ON and OFF, it eventually works. Once it works, it will work until you turn it OFF for couple hours and it will repeat the flickering cycle.
Those electronics experts out there, is there something I can do to fix it? This monitor is probably one of the best investments I've ever made. The screen is still like new like when I first got it. No dead pixels either. It's baseless now as the stand broken awhile back. I would still want to keep it if it can be fixed. I would feel bad letting it go if it can't be fixed.
Thanks in advance for any inputs.
