Sweet! Just got my 7800 GT CO SE from Monarch a while ago...hopefully 90 days haven't passed...

so whats with 7600 sries?..i never knew there was a 7600 series, are they a bump down from the 7800s? Any and all info will be apprcieated
 
7600 are clocked high, only 12 pipes though. ~200$, but they beat the shit out of 6800GT and GS. Very nice 200$ GPU.

6500 on 3dmark05 with a sotck 7600 and 3800+ from a review i saw.
 
wahoo, so i ordered a 7900GT @ 520/1500 for 300$ shipped with a game!

Significantly faster than a 7800GTX, more overclockable, and cooler running too. Can't beat that.
 
My card is still charged for $325.00 with no type of email confirmation, no order number, you just have my money and I have nothing. The email service was no help.

What should I do now?

Surely XFX must know that this gap is ridiculous and they can't possibly expect people to pay an $82 premium for an additional 10Mhz Core Clock and 20Mhz Mem Clock increase?? Maybe it's just me, but if I was to buy a 7900 series product today, I sure know which one I'd be buying! :D

The 7900GT XXX was $349 two days ago at Monarch. Just another case of raising prices on popular items. I had two of them in my cart and by the time I checked the next day they had went up over $60 each.

I guess it's just supply and demand. Once the initial enthusiasm over these cards wanes, the prices will drop (for good), just like they did for the 7800 series cards.
 
Anyone's stuff shipped yet? I ordered Thursday and didn't ship today (monday) :(. Been in processing in the warehouse since Friday.

But the good news is, i only paid for some middle end shipping and i was bumped up to Fedex 2 day :)
 
You got me beat. I ordered Saturday and have no idea what the status is. I was, however, charged 3 times for the order. Hmmm.

From the looks of it I am not going to get my eVga card this week like I had hoped. Not only that, I am not going to get it at $300 and with a copy of City of Villians.

I have tried every avenue of support at Monarch and have yet to receive a response or any help at all. WTF?

Anyhow, those of you who got theirs, grats. They are in VERY short supply right now.

Call them up at their 800 number, that always works.
 
I did call them up and they reported that they have no record of the transaction. My bank has record of it, but Monarch doesn't. That stinks.

I've never really had a negative experience with Monarch before this. I know it was probably a glitch or something like that, but I feel kind of abandonned by the whole incident.

I hate to do it, but it looks like I am going to be paying $50 more for the card just to get my new rig on its feet.
 
Everyone having problems with Monarch should try out their forums. I had a problem when I ordered a combo with them not shipping and something being out of stock :( . After getting on the forum and talking it out with them I was upgraded to overnight shipping and it went out same day. May or may not work but I can't believe they are taking as long as they have just to process your orders guess the $10.00 extra was worth it at Newegg since it is on the way to deliver as we speak.
 
If you want the fastest possible shipping it may not be a good idea to buy from a reseller that is having a huge sale on highly demanded items.
 
Over the weekend I cancelled my 7900GT order from Monarch and ordered from ClubIT instead. ClubIT shipped my card out yesterday. I don't know what happened with Monarch, and whether they actually had all the stock in the warehouse to support the number of orders they got, but the ETA on their site (which when I ordered, did say in stock along with a pretty fuzzy estimate) is just not exact enough for some.

The ball was dropped by Monarch this time in my opinion; hopefully it'll be better next time.

I am sorry it didn't work out and never expect any business to be 100% perfect all the time, but any sort of help would have been appreciated. If I were filthy rich and could just order again or somewhere else it wouldn't be a huge deal for me. Unfortunely I am a typical underpaid IT guy who considers a $300 purchase to be a big one.

Monarch,

I sent you a PM with my order number. I ordered on Thursday, but the product says out of stock with an ETA of March 27th. I was hoping I wouldn't be hit with such delays since I ordered it on the same day this thread was made... also, for some reason I thought you didn't charge credit cards until the item was shipped.

Anyways, I was hoping to receive the cards within 7 days of ordering :(
 
Seriously man, i ordered on Thursday as soon as i saw this thread. And it's been in processing in the warehouse for like 4 days. I sent an email over 3 hours ago, we'll see what happens..
 
Same here, i ordered it on thursday at noon. I was told it was going to get shipped out today. But I haven't received any tracking # yet.
 
I keep checking my email and my order status, i hope mine ships today, i want to have some fun with it over teh weekend. But i guess it's already like 6 PM in GA so they probably won't ship today :(

most retailers went up after initial launch :( .

its what happens what demand exceeds the supply :p

prices shoudl settle down in the weeks to come; if you can wait :p
 
I ordered a 7900gt on 3/9 (before the free game promo) with website showing "in stock" 3-4 days (or thereabouts). I sent an e-mail for an ETA yesterday and about 8 hours later get back 3/27. I have a sneaky feeling that if I didn't ask, they never would have told me my order was delayed three weeks. Unprofessional to say the least...
