does anyone else think that they're nice looking but BORDERLINE pointless since most people hide all those kind of connectors anyhow ?

Maybe in a case with side facing drive cages with sleeved wiring and maybe some EL IDE cables, they would look pretty good. I think they can be used to add a hightlight to smartly done wiring.

Yeah, I have to agree with you on this one, if the user puts them on the extension cables.

If you put them on the drives, then it makes a little more sense.

I have 3 of em and I just decided to clean up my wire job and now its just puts of a pretty cool glow from behind the mobo tray and along the 3.5" rack looks pretty sweet but not really what they're intended for

This is where I grabbed em, they're hella bright and rather cheap too. Only drag was they took about a week to get here, and the arses put em in a ginormous fedex envelope

It's not something I'd get either. I'm constantly moving things around, and the last thing I need is something that interferes with my cables.

Would it hurt the power stability to the vid card?

nah they take 1.5 line volts and with it in a linear circuit its only using like .01 of what the vid card would be using. Dont worry w0m
