Has there been any development in CRT tech in the 10 years that CRTs production has stopped? Would a 500KHz HSCan be possible?
 
Uh, what? Why would there be development for something that hasn't been produced in a decade?

Perhaps the original poster is referring to Criterion-Referenced Test, or maybe Continuously Regenerating Technology....
