Hi,

Planning to replace my Abit IP35-E (BIOS does not save anymore, already replaced battery) and I only found 2 LGA775 mobo w/ DDR2:

Asrock G31M-VS2
Gigabyte G41M-Combo

Which one should I buy?

Also thinking of buying a video card before building a new rig by next year:

Powercolor HD4850 1GB
Sapphire HD 5670 1GB
Sapphire HD 6670 1GB
Palit GT 630

I'm in the Philippines by the way and here is my current setup:
C2D E4400
Abit IP35-E
2x2GB DDR2 800 Team Elite
WDC 500GB
Powercolor 2600XT

Thanks in advance! :)

Gigabyte but only barely. As for the GPU, I have several questions:
1) What PSU do you have?
2) What games are you planning on playing?
3) What's the max resolution of your monitor?
4) How much does the HD 6750, HD 6770, HD 7750, and HD 7770 cost over there? How much does the HD 4850 cost?

1) HEC WIN+ 550W
2) playing D3 and some MMO's.
3) 1440 x 900
4) All from the same shop:
Powercolor HD 4850 = 3160
Sapphire HD 5670 = 3330
Sapphire HD 6670 = 3600
Powercolor HD 6750 = 4520
Powercolor HD 6770 = no stock
Powercolor HD 7750 = 4890
Powercolor HD 7770 = 6110
Palit GTX 550 Ti = 5460
Palit GT 630 = 3150

I was hoping to keep it below 4000 and still get an improvement from my HD 2600XT.

I don't trust your PSU. So if you start seeing stability issues or hardware death, look at the PSU first. GPU wise, go for the HD 4850.

Thanks Danny!

I'll try to squeeze in a better PSU. Which one would be a good choice:

Antec Basiq VP550P = 2260
Corsair CX430 = 2220
Corsair CX500 = 2800
FSP Hexa 500w = 2100
FSP Raider 550w = 2590
Seasonic S12II 520 = 2850
Thermaltake TR500PCUS = 3030
Thermaltake TT LitePower 600w = 2370

Can you afford to build a new computer now? If so, why not build right now? No point in sticking with LGA775.

Corsair CX430 if you're really broke. Otherwise, I'd go for the Seasonic.
