MMA Guy Flips Out On Game Developer

What would have made the video funny is if the developer did punch that guy right in the mouth.

lol, I train in Muay Thai and I don't "like to fight all the time" nor do I have a big ego.
Lol, no kidding. I've been training for almost 5 years...before that I played professional tennis and did video/graphics work. Every day before I train I teach a 5 -10 year old kids tennis clinic that inspired me to go back to school so I can get a job in Elementary education. I'm such a thug, lol!

Hahaha, I have to agree with spinelli here, I would have been rolling on the floor if that developer stepped up and laid Jason out.

YOU THUG!!!

The estrogen levels in this thread are off of the fucking charts.

100% agreed. i was shocked by how pissed he got, iwas completely fooled just like that guy was. this is one of the best-pulled pranks ive seen to date. its simple, short and SUPER sweet. dude goes off and really looks like he might kill someone! its awesome! i laughed my ass off, i was completely convinced this guy was a total douchebag... if i was that software developer i would have tried to throw him into the ball pit though!:p

You think it would be funny to see a developer get beat into the ground?

no. the reason it would be funny for the developer to do the hitting is because 1, the joke is on him and 2, something that is funny is so because it is way out of proportion to reality. that little guy hitting the really big guy is disproportionate, therefore probably funny.

Jason Miller is the man..

3 years jiu jitsu (mainly no-gi) & 1 years of muay thai so far.

Who else trains here?

Yeah, you're totally right.

Randy Couture, GSP, Kenny Florian, Eddie Alvarez, Akoi, Fedor Emelianenko, Vitor Belfort, Mirko Crocrop, Big Nog, Lil Nog, Anderson Silva, etc etc are all thugs.

You really should make an assumption about something when you have no clue what you're talking about.

Really? Since I've trained in Judo, Jujitsu, Muay Thai, Tang Soo Do, and a little bit of MMA, I have no clue what I'm talking about? Good call, broski.

Maybe you shouldn't make assumptions. I've come across a lot of MMA fighters in my day. Yes, most of them were amateurs, and yes most of them were just kids looking to have a reason to fight and get jacked up off creatine and nitric oxide supplements. They followed no philosophy other than "ground and pound," which really isn't much of a philosophy at all.

From the episodes of Ultimate Fighter and UFC that I've seen (which is more than I would have liked to have seen), a lot of the guys are thugs. KIMBO SLIIIIIIIICE! YEAAAAAAAA MAN! Backyard brawling thug.

The whole "Tapout" following is just embarrassing.

When I think of "true" martial artists, I think of some of the Gracies who basically inspired modern day MMA and the UFC. Unfortunately, it became "Americanized."

Yeah, that pissed me off as well. Why? Because when I was in grade I WAS the kid that was picked on. I was always the smallest kid in my classes and a favorite target for bullies. I got into a sport that not only built my confidence but also my body. Now I look at those that get treated like that and I instantly feel like I have to protect them since I've been there.

If he had just did it for a minute or so, it would have been funny, but getting physical, and stretching it to the point where the guy probably DID shit his pants, thats asinine. And for the estrogen comment, your a douche. Just because someone doesn't like that type of humor doesn't give you the right to criticize them. In the immortal words, fuck off.

Do you see the irony in this? You don't like the joke the guy pulled so you criticize him, and then follow it up with this. Then to top it off, you make an unnecessarily aggressive statement.

Speaking of estrogen..

That was funny. The one long haired guy on the left didn't quite get the joke, though.

Nothing is worse than coming across those tapout wearing, steroid taking, tattoo wearing punks at bars. Ive been to this one bar twice and both times a group of tough guys like i described made a smart ass remark to me for looking in their general direction.

Maybe I'm just growing older or something, but I found this "joke" to be obnoxious and immature. I mean, the anxiety level of those developers rose to a point you can sense oozing out of your computer screen as you watched. I'm very protective of my dorky-fellow-developer-brothers, and seeing one punk out at the end and say "no disrespect" makes me sad. Someone starts acting up like that in my development house, I would call his ass out for the shitty skills he has and than have security toss his sorry ass out in the street. Just cause your an MMA fighter doesn't give you the pass to act like an ass and get away with it. Reminds me of high school or something.

Maybe I just need to lighten up. But damn, I wanted to take control of this situation myself while watching. Protect my peeps!

How dare they pull a prank on someone. I'm sure you are 100% serious all the time. If only you had been there to teach that trained professional fighter a lesson.

As anyone that knows me can tell you, I am the friendliest person around, always laughing - joking (almost to a fault)

....but....

I'm rather large and I look mean...so I attract the idiots you describe above and they all act like we are BFFs. :( It's not easy to admit it, but I look like a bully.

The guy in this video acts like he is in middle school. Not a bad thing to have fun. However, acting like a fucking douche-nozzle is... douchey.

If it's 'OK' for them to flaunt their physical strength is it 'OK' for me to blow a hole through their front door with double-ought?

Not to keen on these MMA types. Can they kick my ass in hand to hand combat? You bet. Are they could at about anything else physically? Nope, they definatly aren't. I'd like to see one of those nut-jobs hike the Bibbulmun track in 4 1/2 weeks.

When I saw this I started to think Likewise then I remembered this guy hosts a show about beating down bullies and thought. There's no sense on doing what he's doing and if he's. He'll lost all his credibility.

Yes Steve, We All know you need not Suit to go to A WoW/BlizzCon Convention. You can do either Alliance or Horde, doesn't matter.

You know. Maybe if we were more used to these types of situations like they used to be in the old times. This world wouldn't be in such a POS state as it is right now. We take too much S.H.I.T. and are so used to being comfortable we forget that's just a thin, almost fake line.

Yet, developers wonder why their games end up used for $20, after 3 months being released. I feel that we'd get better games if James Rolfe was in charge of game development. If you don't know who he is, then shame on you.

the chick in the red shirt is drunk. people please fire him and let him eat out of an ass from now on.....?

That wasnt that funny, i find this kind of american humour extremly bad, im english and although our humour is mean, crude, and sarcastic its doesnt push to this level...

i agree with the other posters, i would have had security pull his ass out of there..

Mayhem is a true character and good for MMA! I like his style, but I would NOT get that kind of humor, its very different where I come from, more like British humour I suppose. This in my view is a crude prank resulting in a very forced type of literal HAHA laughter.

I would have taken a swing or five at him the moment he touched me .. and after that get submitted, damn!

Not a fan of MMA. Never quite saw the appeal of a bunch of triple chromosome meat heads fighting in a blood sport. Also, for some reason, far too many MMA fans get drunk and obnoxious and feel the need to replicate what they see on tv. It reminds me of little kids watching WWF wrestling and copying what they saw, except the little kids have an excuse ... they are children.

wow, now THIS is funny....

yeah, like no one at baseball games, or football, or rugby, or soccer, or concerts, or a Nascar event, or <insert "x" event here> gets too drunk and gets obnoxious and wants to fight or cause trouble.....

people have been doing this for DECADES. anytime you get a large group of people together for some type of sporting event that places two or more groups against each other, drunken fans of each group that encounter each other are going to get into it. it's inevitable. but that doesn't mean that 99.9% of the rest of them aren't just there minding their own business and just enjoying the show.

and i don't know where you got the impression that MMA fighting is a "bloodsport". sure, there is sometimes bleeding involved, but they have sporting regulations that have clearly defined guidelines on when a fighter can and cannot continue fighting. the referees are highly trained inviduals, many times from within the MMA world themselves, who know exactly what to look for, and will end a fight if they see something they don't like. for instance, if someone catches an elbow to their face, and it cuts them under the eye, it may bleed like crazy, but as long as the fighter clearly still has his wits about him, is not being blinded by the blood (i.e., has a disadvantage), and is ***WILLING*** to go on, they will usually let the fight continue. now, if the cut is right above the eye, and the blood is flowing down into their eye, and they cannot stop the bleeding to a point where it is no longer a disadvantage, they will call it right then & there.

the UFC did have a period of time where it was highly misunderstood and people really did think it was a bloodsport, and in some cases, rightly so.....but that was before they gained widespread support for it and got the sporting regulators involved to make things safer for the fighters, and these days, it's highly unlikely that you'll be much/any worse off as a pro MMA fighter than you will be as a boxer.

i REALLY hate it when people make stupid, sweeping generalizations like this about stuff they either 1) know nothing about, and/or 2) don't fully understand

if you don't like it, fine...but don't go around spreading FUD about something you obviously haven't taken the time to really learn about.

Thats hilarious. So much prejudice and judgement in a few sentences! Not bad. I am sorry if you met obnoxious MMA fans, but havent we met obnoxious fans of anything, even the things we like, at some point? I for one have met many obnoxious sports fans on the streets. Often looking for a fight or vandalizing coming from soccer games or hockey games for instance. Its not MMA its too much testosterone and alcohol at the same time.

These people are athletes! The best are some of the most gifted athletes at any measure in my opinion. If you think its just triple chromosomes and bloodshed for the sake of bloodshed you got it all wrong. Obviously bloodied noses sell tickets in 2009, and one can discuss the value in that, but for people who have personal experience or knowledge of what it entails to master these fighting techniques, its far more than that. For me personally its the athleticism, the tactical game (maybe you havent thought of fighting as a mind game yet) and the concept of a very simple and universal stage, when two opponents face each other. No bats, no nets, no clubs, no wheels, just two humans and their talents. If you think MMA fans are crude, how come you will hear the crowd cheer when a jui-jitsu guy pulls off a cool reversal? The ground game itself is an awesome aspect of MMA, and most people are not equipped to make sense of it unfortunately, hence you think its all about the one brutal knock out!

I am not American, so I did not grow up with WWF, but to me that is far more disturbing that anyone would expose their little kids to this, even though its theatre, its a simulation of violence. MMA is for adults IMHO, and if you dont like it fine, but saying its a mindless bloodsport is silly and uneducated.

It seems we agree a bit there hehe! I didnt see your post until after I posted mine above, the parallels are strong :D

Lol, you've obviously never been to a football game.
