I have these 2--512 sticks for 1 gig. Crucial Technology/ Rendition RM6464Z40B 512MB DDR400 PC3200 Memory Retail

I think the timings are 3-3-3-8.

I am thinking about added another pair of 512 sticks.

as long as the timings are the same does it matter at all what brand I choose. I am thinking these would be nice.

You don't need to bump your thread every few hours in the memory forum. THere isn't much activity here, its not going to move far.

To answer your question though... yes it will work. It's not adviced if you want to overclock, but by the sound of it your not. Also, if your on an AMD setup, 4 sticks of ram will make you run 2t, but the performance loss there is almost non-existant.

Yes, if you get memory that runs the same timings and frequency at the same voltage, you shouldn't have much of a problem.

But as a story, I had 2x512MB of BH-5 and 2x512 of TCCD. When trying to run both of these together, the motherboard would default to 100MHz regardless of what voltage/frequency/timings I set. Running that BH-5 with a set of OCZ Premier sticks ran just fine. My two cents.
