For straight gaming machine is there any reason to pick up a z68 chipset? I already run an SSD so I am thinking that the SSD Cache option is a moot point, also running a discrete graphics card makes Virtu a moot point as well or am I missing something.
 
for a mITX board (so, only one pcie board connection), the only difference is CPU overclocking (other than SRT).
 
like machupo said, it will allow you to overclock. but that is it, unless you want to use virtu software for a desktop optimus-esque graphics capability
 
The Z68 is ment to allow overclocking

However Zotac doesn't overclock well or realy at all!

ASRock no one has shown us what it does yet!

Rumors say Gigabuyte aint doing Z68N-UB3
 
So pretty much its better to run with a P67 board if I am getting a "K" designated processor or take a chance on the ASRock board?

Anyone releasing more boards any time soon?
 
A Z68 mobo will also allow a person a upgrade path to IvyBridge when it comes out next year. P67 is suppose to as well but it is more dependent on the manufacturer supposedly as to whether it can be done. Kind of goes like this. Z68 will support it and P67 maybe.
 
If you want to OC your only choice is those two Z68 boards currently. There were no P67 ITX boards released AFAIK. If you go with a non K CPU then you have some other chipset choices like H67.
