Seeing as the connectors are completely different, your options are to solder and make it a direct connection, or to make a similar cable using the pinouts that have probably been posted on bit-tech or even here.

Try doing a search on "PSOne" "PS1" or "Playstation" both here and at BT.

Unless the screen has a standard video connector (s-video or composite) and some power wires you can tap into, you're probably out of luck. Soldering is very easy and I recommend you learn how. If not, the type and quality of mods you do is going to be severely limited. All you need is a $10 soldering iron, solder, wire (for practice), and some time...

it has a regular composite, you can use the tv-out from your video card and hook it up that way

what do you mean. theres no place to plug the yellow wire in at . Look here i gotta pic.....

Am I missing something? Isn't the right-hand connector on the left harness for composite video?

that nope that connector yellow alll teh way to the left is actually on the other side and its for power and the one next to it is also for power if you hookin it up into the ps1 and that long flat one is for video

Exactly. Since the PSOne LCDs are designed to attach directly to the PSOne to serve as one unit, the connectors on the back for video are the male end of the connector on back of the PSOne itself. There is also a power plug that powers the backlight, which will either have to be run though the back of your computer and into an outlet (wussy way) or modified to get power from a PSU (l337 way).

Is this an official PSOne or a third party display?

For an official PSOne display, you can use an RCA to 1/8" adapter to put composite video in through the port on the side.

For most unofficial PSOne display, you need a GunCon type adapter. It has both a plug and socket for PSX multi-out, and Composite and audio jacks on the side. Plug the socket to the inside plug (intended for PSOne) and hook composite video and audio to the side ports.
